Position Description for Worship Décor Coordinator

Overall Ministry Description and How it Relates to Hope’s Mission Statement: To help people to connect with God and grow in their relationship with Him by enhancing our Sunday morning worship services with an aesthetically pleasing environment in the cafeteria and surrounding area Ministry Position Summary: Create a cohesive and visually pleasing environment in the cafeteria, within allotted budget, that is set-up crew friendly. Monitor item usage and replace and update as needed. Ministry Leader: Laury Groh (email her at info@go2hope.org) Spiritual Gifts, Talents & Skills: Creativity, organization/administration Reporting Structure: Worship Leader (Assistants would report to the Worship Décor Coordinator) Time commitment: Variable--The decor changes seasonally. Sometimes new centerpieces need to be created or older ones need to be cleaned, updated or repaired—this can take several hours. Brainstorming and shopping can take several hours. Some holidays require several hours to prepare and then a couple of hours of set-up and take-down.
