Ministry Prayer Team Coordinator

Overall Ministry Description and How it Relates to Hope’s Mission Statement: We help people grow and walk with Jesus by ministering to their needs through prayer

Ministry Position Summary: To coordinate and train the ministry team members to pray for people’s needs at the end of each worship service

Ministry Leader: Jim Stewart and Mary Skelton (email at info@go2hope.org)

Spiritual Gifts, Talents & Skills: Holy Spirit lead, gifts of prayer and intercession, gift of administration; also it can be helpful if one has any of the following gifts- prophecy, words of knowledge, healing gifts, discerning of spirits

Reporting Structure: Reports to the pastor & elders; Ministry prayer team members report to the coordinator

Time commitment: Averages less than ½ hour per week in phone calls; Most Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:15am and 11:10-11:30am

Current Status: 1 serving/0 more people needed

General Ministry Responsibilities:

1. Schedules team members
2. Makes reminder calls to team members.
3. Models/Trains ministering prayer for prospective ministry team members
4. Insures that someone is there to lead the ministry teams on Sunday mornings when the coordinator is absent
5. Regularly participates on a Sunday morning ministry team:

• Joins the prayer team on Sunday morning at 8:30-9:15am for prayer
• Prays for people at the end of the Sunday morning worship service
