Zechariah's Lesson of Faith 12022012Experiencing the Joy of Christmas?
Peace, hope, love, & faith- all great words that are associated with Christmas, but for many of us Christmas brings busyness, stress, financial tension, arguments, and doubt. So does Christmas really bring all these great qualities? If the angel that spoke to those shepherds really had good news of great joy which was meant for all people, then how do we experience all these great gifts? Perhaps we can learn from some of the original Christmas characters themselves. Join us in December as we learn how to experience true joy amidst the Christmas rush.

Finding Rest For Your SoulLove, joy, peace, patience, kindnessâ€â€all great things! So we try to act more loving. We put on a smile and try to rejoice. We pray and hope for peace of mind. We bite our tongue and hold our anger. Outwardly we look good, but deep down inside there is the nagging awareness that something is amiss. Our hurting marriages, our struggles at work, our rocky relationships, our haggard schedules all reveal cracks in our lives that tell us that our spirituality may not be working as well as we had hoped.
God promises to make us into new creationsâ€â€the old has passed and the new has come. We know this is true in the spiritual realm, but what about in the emotional realm? Did God intend to transform us emotionally? If so, what does that look like? How does that happen? What does it mean to become an emotionally healthy person?
