Most people have heard of the story of Jonah, the guy who gets swallowed up by a whale and lives to tell the tale. It’s one of the favorite stories of children in church. But as adults, our questions about the story tend to focus around how this could really have happened—was it a fish or a whale? How could a man really live three days in its belly and yet survive? But God has some deeper questions for us to ponder. Questions like—What do you think God is really like? And how do you think God views all of humanity? What should you do when God asks you to do something you don’t want to do? Let’s fish out the truths immersed in this incredible tale! Join us during the month of September!

Our culture defines our significance by various criteria—our possessions, production, popularity, or personality. But how does God see us? Thankfully, long before modern psychologists identified the importance of personal identity, the apostle Paul addressed this issue. We are beginning a series on discovering our true significance in the supremacy and sufficiency of Christ! This series has the potential to change your view of Jesus and your view of yourself.
