How to Touch LivesAs we launch into a new ministry year, we want to be sure that we are fulfilling the call that God has placed on our church and on our personal lives. But what is that calling? Ever since the fall of man, the “Missio Dei" or the Mission of God" has been to call a lost world back to Himself. His mission began in Genesis and it will be consummated as told to us in Revelation. Jesus defined His mission in this simple statement: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." But His mission is also our mission. He commissions us, “As the Father has sent me, so I send you."

The Poison of Pride Leads to Death By VanityFaith was never meant to be just an intellectual, religious exercise that affects only one hour on Sunday morning. Rather, faith was meant to transform our lives. True faith is lived out in everyday life in very practical ways. But what does that life of faith look like? How does authentic faith in Christ affect how we view trials, how we deal with anger, tame the tongue, and minister to the poor? How should faith affect the issue of humility vs. pride? Join us beginning in May and continuing throughout the summer as James, the brother of Jesus, addresses those questions for us!
