About 80 people from Hope gave us their feedback via an online survey. In light of the input, we are making plans to return to in-person worship. But it's evident from the responses from the survey that not everyone feels comfortable in meeting together. In fact, I am sure that the differences are also a reflection of how varied our views are on this pandemic and the response to the virus. So how do we move forward together while still maintaining unity? How do we honor and respect one another amidst opinions which greatly vary? Join us tomorrow as we talk about it! When we began life under this shelter-at-home order, many of us thought that life would be much simpler. After all, we are staying home and not going anywhere. But instead of a simpler life, life has become more complicated--working from home, learning new software and protocols, children doing e-learning (which translates to "parents are now their teachers"!), spouses juggling shifts between work time and who watches the kids, kids getting cabin fever and bouncing off the walls....
